Rodolfo Certeza Severino, Jr. is a Filipino diplomat and was the Secretary General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) from 1998 to 2002. He is the head of the ASEAN Studies Centre at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore,〔http://www.aseanstudiescentre.org/〕 and an Adjunct Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.〔http://www.lkyspp.nus.edu.sg/Staff_Directory_Faculty_Research.aspx〕 He is the author of four books: ''Southeast Asia in Search of an ASEAN Community'' (2006), ''ASEAN'' (2008), ''The ASEAN Regional Forum'' (2009) and ''Where in the World is the Philippines?''
